Today i wanted to go for the abovementioned event, so my mother said ok so we went after my tuition.

The first people to come up were umm, ENERGY! The memorable songs that they sang were Come on and 某年某月某一天。 The DJs wanted 牛奶 to sing with his ex-group like before, so it was a 前所未有 since 2005 that Energy+Milk sang this song together. Other than that i didnt really know their songs. They celebrated one of the members' birthday and even brought a cake for him, then they played a game and two of the energy members had to 舌吻. however i was not tall enough so i didnt see it happen lol.

Then 刘力扬 came and sang those two songs, which were really nice :D they arranged it in the way that those who had duets with each other would come directly after one another. I like her voice hmm. After that 林宥嘉 came on stage and they sang three duets together :D nice nice. 林宥嘉不亏是林宥嘉, his voice didn't disappoint at all. :D :D

Then 林宇中 came and sang his songs and a few duets with 林俊杰. the crowd went wild when 林俊杰 came on stage, i guess they purposely put him as the last to appear so that people would stay for the whole duration of the event.

Though we were standing quite far back and my neck was aching from trying to look/tip-toe, i enjoyed myself very much as it was a great opportunity to listen to so many of the nice nice songs live <3 :D :D :D :D thank you mummy/daddy for waiting for me letting me finish watching the whole thing! :) 93.3 should organize more of such events.

The last time.

Last night when we shouted LAMBADA it was the last time we would do it as a j2 ensemble, i shouted the loudest i had ever shouted.

Friday was the last time we would have practice in LT3.

After concert, as we carried the music stands and footstools back to the guitar room, it was the last time we would ever take that route, though last night it really seemed like an endless journey; when we reached the third floor zhu ge was like 'huh?? haven't reach yet??' since we were carrying much more things than usual.

Last night was the last time we would play those 5 songs as an ensemble, the last time we would have to get stressed about not following yz's bass for canon in d, the last time we would play bourree together, the last time we would feel a common feeling while playing la cumparsita.

I shall just attempt to record down whatever happened yesterday so that i can click and read it next time i start to miss guitar.
We went quite early in the morning, since we were supposed to come earlier to practise bourree and la cumparsita. And i think my morning calls to yz and cs were quite useless, since i dont think they even bothered about their phones ringing. =.= I had fun singing the newly composed song.

After all the J1s arrived we practised sway, which was quite hilarious (the kicking, and zhu ge's 扭-ing hahahahahhaa.) and also practised club song, with the last row being very entertaining swaying their fingers in the air.

After all that we went to the e block classrooms to practise (for the last time) and then it was time to move into the auditorium. Though we were still playing canon in d and i am sorry yz for all the displeasure that we caused you when we were rushing.

It was a rather mad rush after we went into the audi, cos tech run then it was full dress, so we gobbled up lunch and went without dinner and full dress was crazy, with the changing of clothes between items, making sure that my pick was not lost. At about 6.30 we were still having full dress :/

At 7 something we started changing into the attire for samba, and put on makeup. I think that we are makeup noobs, cos when siying and i went into the toilet, all the j1s were like busying putting on makeup so professionally =.= while we noobs were trying to look for people to put makeup for us. HAHAHHA. anyway i am more noob cos i didnt even bring my own makeup. (note to thank whoever helped me put on makeup)

and then we got our guitars, and sat behind the curtains, hearing the noise of the audience, waiting for the moment when the emcees would start.(which was quite long actually) then the curtains opened and i could hear shaokai shouting. and probably ben toh also, since ben toh was shouting almost all the time when i appeared =.=

Samba and morenita were quite ok! At least i didnt burst out laughing when yz was conducting >< hahahahaha.

alot alot of people talked about people 走光 during gavotte. my mother even said someone behind her wanted to complain to the higher authorities within the school that such indecent exposure is highly unacceptable and something should be done. sk said he 看到全部 or something. lol.

Then it was the item i was most afraid of, canon in d. Especially since i was the first one to start playing the chorus part so it would be very obvious if i played wrongly. But yay it was quite alright, since when we rushed yz adapted to our varying tempos. heh heh. oh! and i remember when i went on stage i could hear ben toh shouting very clearly, saying 'Denyse! I cannot see you!!' =.= and just now my brother was also laughing at that.

Hmm. Then after interval was my favourite Spring message :D i had a lot of fun zhamming the guitar 3 part and hear the strings of the acoustic guitar sparkle and ring among the classical guitars :D spring message <3 oh then after shanliang, zhu ge was telling yc, i cant find my pick its on the floor. Then i also couldnt find mine, so i think all 3 of us dropped our picks and were so excited when the lights were switched on and we could see our dear picks after temporal separation. hahaha.

Then bourree went on quite smoothly, as most of us had practised quite hard for it.
Before la cumparsita we were standing at the side listening to the j1s play salut d'amour, and i must say it sounded much better than it had the day before.

la cumparsita was well..interesting. interesting that people saw the missing/unsynchronised bass as something which had been done on purpose.

and im quite sure alot of people enjoyed mr quek's singing! and sway was very funny, especially during the exchange part. club song was nice, neelie and i were just shouting out the song and the harmony at the end :) hahaha. go zhuge!

encore-lambada, the poppers were quite a good ending, just that the last one came quite a long while after others had already popped so it was rather anti-climax. the acknowledgements part the emcees were quite cute when it came to the part where we were thanking them :) hahah.

The audi is a rather tiring place to pick up rubbish in. (sentence with hidden meaning)

We went to kap after that, on the way out we spotted sk in the distance and shouted his name though it was already 11 something and we were right beside some houses -.- lol. it was nice talking with neelie/yingzhi/zhuge/shaokai :) but then i had to leave at 12.20 cos aha >< :(

The days when we just started as a new exco remain embedded in my mind, the first practice when we all didn't know what to do and were so unsure of ourselves, feeling so insecure during sectionals (i am proud of morenita guitar 3s :)) Guitar has given me lots of happiness and also alot of unhappiness, but at the end of the day the happiness outshines my anger and sadness i have experienced thus far.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to:

Eileen, for being there for me and tolerating my unhappiness and going crazy with me at times and for our 同甘共苦 throughout our term, and even during la cumparsita when we shared the difficult parts. heh heh :D

Vivien, for being there when i needed someone to vent my frustrations to, for getting agitated with me, for the programme booklet, for laughing with me whenver i wanted to laugh at yingzhi's bird-like conducting hahahaha, for being a wonderful companion during guitar!

Zhu Ge, for practising with me in the morning when i went up to put the guitar into the guitar room, for writing the wonderful club song, for sharing the dissent we had, for making us laugh with uniquely zhu ge quotes, for being a great friend :D

Yingzhi, for conducting most of the j2 trainings cos i am not very good at commenting on mistakes and not being irritated with me for not wanting to conduct training >< , for tolerating our varying tempos during canon in d, for being my fellow mi at j2s and not giving up hope though we were sometimes seen as redundant and it was rather difficult to pick ourselves up again.

Cheryl, for always being so happy and tolerating, for whatever that you have done, whether it was recognized anot cos we knew that you have already done your best.

Alicia, for always being so smiley and giggly and making us laugh hahaa, for trying your best to do whatever you could!

Wangshu for being a nice fellow spring message guitar 3! I will not forget the look you had when you had to tank guitar 3 yourself when i had to conduct. hahahaha.

Leong shiyun for being a very nice friend and smiling happily everytime you see me, making my day :D

Huijun for laughing with me, for calming me down before samba started, for 我的好朋友 scares during the club song, making me very excited whenever we had to sing the club song. :)

leong shiyun, huijun, ningxin for asking me not to be so stressed last night cos i was really quite flustered haha

Vincent, for making me laugh whenever i saw you at the other end of the row doing weird actions. hahahaha.

Siying for being there to receive my complaints and telling me they are not as bad as we think they are, and having faith in us.

Shaokai, for coming back during our trainings to teach wangshu and i how to roll and making me realise my strumming was wrong, for being there to talk to whether i was happy or sad, for the flowers wrapped in paper not plastic. hahahahaa. for being a super wonderful senior :D :D

Jonathan for tolerating my complaints which i had when i was unhappy with cca, and encouraging me and cheering me up.hahahaa the imaginary banner is in my heart! hahahaha.

Wanglin for being there to laugh at my complaints and making me more agitated with your appalling comments (which is actually quite a good way to vent my anger lol) , for being receipient of the first f word i have ever scolded through sms and tolerating all the bad things which i had to say when i was angry or sad.

Thank you backstage j1s for making sure that the chairs were properly arranged and we had enough footstools and music stands! (reminds me of what we did last year.)

j1 percussionists for making samba, spring message, lambada, shanliang more interesting! :)

Thank you bentoh and szuan for helping as ushers and coming to support, and for the rose too! (which bloomed last night and is wilting now :( ), thanks to ben toh for being so loud whenever i appeared! =.=

And my dream this afternoon was quite significant, since I dreamt that it was just before concert or something, and i broke my guitar string and i was about to sms zhu ge to tell him my guitar string broke, then i woke up. and then when i continued sleeping after piano lesson, i think i dreamt that some guitar people were having a meal together and i rmb vincent and vivien were in it. haha.

I guess all of us are quite tired out by the mad rush yesterday, today i felt sleepy for the bulk of the day, even during tuition and piano lesson. Which means i have been sleeping and havent done my csc and econs tutorial.

Here comes the time to refocus and work hard.

No one cried yesterday, I wonder when the feeling of loss will hit me. I guess it'll probably be after elections. I don't know, but I will miss the times which we have had, i will not forget our last times. HCGE <3.

This year's birthday has been very memorable indeed! Lets start with last night haha. wl was counting down and saying faster come so no need to wait anymore -.- lol. thank you for counting down and getting so excited with the many smileys hahahaha :D and thank you eileen for the call! :D sorry i didn't see ur call vv ><

i thought i had missed the class 95 (cs says class 95 is for taxi drivers AHHAHAHA) dedication from vivien cos it was already quite long after she sent me the sms asking me if i listened to class 95! but then i had already gone to the class 95 website and was listening to it play then suddenly the dj said, 'and this dedication goes out to denyse, or is it den-nis, im not very sure how to pronounce it.' then it was so exciting! cos i have never received a radio dedication before! :D then after reading the dedication, she said, 'just to let you know denyse, after 18 everything goes downhill from there.' and i was like erpz why are you telling someone this on their birthday. then she said 'just joking!' erpz again. loll. Thank you very much vivien for the radio dedication :D :D :) :)

Then today i met sk who had just had POP yesterday! and he treated me to swensens which was not very cheap :S hahaha. thank you very much :) :) and we had a nice chat over lunch hahah.

fondue! which we couldn't finish cos i was quite full and sk didn't want to eat so many flavours and strawberries and cherries lol-.-

I think i ate too many prawns and noodles, ytd's lunch i ate pork with instant noodles at xin wang cha can ting, last night during jts i ate shrimp wanton noodles, lunch i ate tomyum baked rice (which was nice!! yes!) and had prawns in it, and for dinner just now i had seafood ramen. oops. noodles and prawns overload!

before dinner i went to collect my cake, and bought my first toto ticket lol. how exciting! i was wondering if she would doubt my age. and while i was collecting the cake when the person asked how many candles i wanted, i said 十八 and she thought i said 七十八. hahaha

dinner was nice jap food :) and i couldn't find a thin pick at yamaha :S my brother wanted to buy an expensive pen for me as a present, so ehehe got a new pen! n my father gave me another pen too! haha.

my birthday cake which had nice mango twirls on it and mini crunchy chocolate balls!

ok, my father was watching a hk drama and then the people were singing the cantonese birthday song which jeffrey+wl were singing last night hahahaaha

Today was jts! Before that went out with mx,ewe,jon ong,wl, jeffrey. Supposed to go kbox de :( :( but in the end we went to watch 'The Eye' cos jeffrey (the origin of movie idea), mx and wl wanted to watch and jon ong didn't mind. haiz. and uhhh. some things happened in the morning which influenced the change of plans. jeffrey was very entertaining while we were walking to cineleisure haha. my aim in life is not to turn 18 so that i can buy 4d and toto -.-

We ate quite a lot for lunch since we weren't going kbox anymore. 新旺茶餐厅 is nice! and they seem to like 张韶涵/范范 quite a lot. and jeffrey and wl were embarassing themselves by singing the birthday song in cantonese i forgot how many times, singing along to the angela zhang songs rather loudly. HAHAHA. and making disturbing calls.

The Eye was scary mainly cos the volume was so loud that whenever the loud sounds came people around me jumped. HAHAHA jon ong's popcorn flew up and jeffrey was cowering with fear and ewe also jumped up when there were loud sounds hahahaah.cellular memory is kind of creepy.

After that we went to wisma in quite a rush cos we thought we were late but in the end we were one of the earliest haha. then they forced me to change into the dress that they bought n i let szuan take a photo of it in the toilet n changed back -.- and sat with mx,ewe,wl,jon ong,jeffrey,yiyi,libo,rachel,justin. xiaolongbaos are nice! as long as you don't break them while taking them out.

then we spent a long time making noise outside ding tai feng and taking class photos with about 5 cameras, two photos each. then we split up and went taka where they bought ice cream n then we left. The mrt was so squeezy and the yellow long balloon was particularly obstructing and attention-catching. The soft toy was a comfortable cushion for mx to lie on, my shoulder was comfortable for ewe to rest on too! hahah.

Hmm. I went to neelie's house for the first time in 5 years! :)and eileen ate cavana for the first time since sun plaza opened >< hahahaahhaa.

Hmm. back from japan :D 1am this morning and then went for guitar which was exciting cos spring's message guitar 3 is ahaha and zhuge is pro!!! haha. then went to pepper lunch for lunch/dinner (blow -.- HAHHAA) which was very entertaining cos chensin is -.- and the things he says just makes me want to laugh hahahah. and then i was given the task of purchasing gifts by wl. so i had to go to j8 to buy the stuff (with my guitar) and deliver the gifts to baoguan -.- still get niaoed for buying a lousy card LOL (i really didnt have enough money!) o wells. japan photos :)

First day at ikebukuro! theres a restaurant called jonathan's! haha.

Namco Namjaland! Ice cream city which had quite alot of flavours of ice cream, including weird ones like garlic and curry. ahaha. i tried the peach one! it was nice :D:D

i believe this is supposed to be the red-light district.kabukicho.which had alot of 情报馆s (i dunno what a qing bao guan is but i dont think its a very er pure place.)

shabu shabu! i didnt really like the beef :S cos it was very fatty. so i was eating more of the vegetables and AHAHA I got to eat the chewy noodles which i liked alot in china. haha. shabu shabu is just like 涮羊肉 leh! even the sauce is the same peanut sauce! just that its just alot more expensive.

chewy noodles! and the white thingy is nian2 gao1 which was too chewy and sticky and i hid it in my bowl to let it rot.

and this too ahaha.it was shuang! and very fun and scary. the feeling of dropping was so fun and i was laughing madly whenever i felt scared.

a show called meet and smile! where the characters went on a 'platform' near the water to take photos with the tourists. the songs at disneysea/land are really nice <3 you cant help but feel happy when you're walking around! cos everything around is just so cheerful and ahh nice :)

a roller coaster called raging spirits, which had a 360 degree loop! fun but not as exciting as the fujikyu one haha. we took this roller coaster 3 times!
the fastpass is a great invention !

the tower of terror, which dropped us up and down while we were in the elevator. it was damn funny and scary. haha.

teriyaki chicken at restaurant sakura! which was not very inexpensive, it was very expensive. abt 1800 yen. :S but what do u expect in disney aha :S i think disney earns their money from selling food, and merchandise. during christmas they earn even more money cos they sell things like the winter hats, christmas-themed merchandise, earmuffs, i really wonder how much they earn.diversification! :D

Hmm. In the 'apartment' now. Cos somehow the hotel owns this little apartment in this random building in front of the Ikebukuro train station, and rents it out to tourists. the person is damn nice la! provide laptop, wireless router, access ports o_O and ya la jiu shi hen nice. and since my father brought his laptop, both my brother and i can use the computer!

The japanese keyboard is rather difficult to get accustomed to, as several symbols such as the colon and the '@' dont appear when u press shift. only appear at certain sites hmm. :/ yesterday when i came online in japan had fun talking to some ppl haha. its quite fun being able to go online overseas. hmm.

Yesterday we took a walk around ikebukuro after we landed in the morning. Its quite nice! we went to sunshine city, which has an amusement park/theme park called namco namja land which has things like a gyoza shi jie, ice cream land and dessert land something like that. and for now the dessert of the season is mon blanc. which i havent tried yet. but tried the peach gelato which was quite nice :) and there are many chinese-speaking people around here, like taiwanese/prcs/hong kongers.

Hmm. yesterday we had tonkatsu for dinner. and we went into the restaurant and didnt know how to order. so since the paper for taking orders was at the table, my father was like 'we write ourselves la' then i took the paper and suddenly the waiter ran to our table n stopped me in time before i started writing on the paper. haha. i felt very malu oops. -.- and i shall remember that my first successful attempt at communicating with a japanese was when i asked the waiter if we could take photos of the restaurant. lol.

The things here are very cute. Saw two stores selling ghibli stuff le. (spirited away artist) and theres a lot alot of hello kitty stuff here. i think szuan would really like japan alot. and vivien theres alot of nightmare before christmas stuff too. you should come here some time haha.

Hmm. While we were walking around ikebukuro i was quite amused with some of the stuff they have, cos at the karaoke places they provide tambourines and shakers for you to get high with. (which i believe would be great for jonathan.hahahaha.)

The toilet bowls are interesting too. But the flushing sound effect is not very realistic -.- and the erm. spraying thing felt quite scary. (cos i didnt know u had to press the button to stop the thing from spraying. lol. ) but its fun hahaha.

Today we went to asakusa, which has a souvenir shopping street called nakamise dori, and a temple called kannon temple. saw a lot of singaporeans there. the fresh senbeis are nice :D especially when its wrapped in wasabi seaweed oman. nice nice. and its so interesting to see them cook the rice crackers right in front of you. we saw a shop selling whale meat, and another selling pufferfish (fugu). and the pufferfish were still swimming around happily. but of course didnt try :/ cos well. whale meat is not very legal right? and fugu is like. highly poisonous -.- and we also went to the imperial palace's east garden, but the imperial palace was closed cos hmm.i dunno why. but the gingko trees are so beautiful. so are the maple trees. ahhh. nvm we'll be seeing more of those in kyoto. exciting.

today was guitar outing! i wonder how it went.

I think we're going to tokyo disneyland tmr! :D :D yay.

guitar today was quite fun! eileen we should practice firstkiss/彩虹! it sounds nice :D haha. 早操 is :S cos i can't play the semiquaver part. auditions were :S too. im sorry my group for not pointing out ur mistakes during practice :/ (cos i thought we sounded ok. :/ haiz. sorry :/ )
